Florida State's president denounces the NCAA's intention to uphold sanctions that would take away wins in 10 sports, including as many as 14 from coach Bobby Bowden.
The NCAA isn't backing off sanctions leveled earlier this year against Florida State which stemmed from academic irregularities at the university.
The NCAA placed the Alabama football program and 15 of the school's other athletic teams on three years' probation for major violations due to misuse of free textbooks.
